What are the most important qualities that Censio looks for in its employees ?
Without a doubt, people who like to take initiatives, and who can adapt to all sorts of situations are what we’re after. On top of this, customer satisfaction and the ability to work both alone and be a team player, are very important to us.
What does Censio offer that’s different?
First of all, a large degree of freedom in the organisation of their work, their missions, and reaching their goals. Next, we bring a lot of technology to the playing field, to make their everyday life easier (demo systems, laptops, etc.) Our work environment is also designed to be as pleasant as possible, with work dinners or events frequent. Finally, our salary scheme is designed to reward those who implicate themselves in the company, as well as those whose results merit reward.
How would you define your management model?
We rely heavily on delegation, and we expect people to take responsibility for their actions. At Censio, all ideas are welcome – moreso, all good ideas are worth trying out! That’s why we encourage all our employees to try to improve on our solutions and our products – working alongside colleagues, and making the best use of technical and financial resources available, of course.
Do you try to recruit only from the "grandes écoles" ?
No. What we really look for, over and above the quality of the basic education (whether it be given in university or at a business or engineering school) is the ability that candidates have to contribute actively in the company, to define, and then reach goals (changing and inventing new work methods as necessary).
Do you accept unsolicited candidatures?
When we are looking to fill a position, we take into account all candidatures that we have received, including those which were not solicited. If someone sends us an application and their profile is interesting, we’ll integrate it into our recruitment process.
